Ford Performance takes the cake with three "Hottest" SEMA awards

The hottest vehicles of the annual Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show have been announced, and there's no surprises here: our Ford automaker swept the competition.

The Ford Mustang, F-Series, and Focus scooped up the awards for Hottest Car, Truck, and Sport-Compact at the highly-anticipated yearly event, and quite frankly we're not surprised. Ford is the largest OEM in attendance at the trade show, with 28 unique SEMA builder cars featured on the Ford stand alone, and nearly 50 vehicles on display total.

 

@FordPerformance proudly unveiled the 2016 Cobra Jet Mustang this week at @SEMAShow in Las Vegas, marking the newest iteration of Cobra Jet as a limited-edition turnkey race car. New four-link rear suspension and electric water pump applications are firsts for Cobra Jet, which is engineered for performance at the track. Cobra Jet shares 75 percent of Mustang GT production engine parts – enabling an eight-second quarter-mile race car that’s both durable and accessible.
