Performance and Drivability
Alpena drivers are sure to find some fun in both the Sport trim and the standard Ford Bronco version. The powertrains differ by engine type, with the standard featuring a 1.5L three-cylinder and the Sport a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder. The difference between 181 and 245 horsepower may not seem like much, but the turbocharged version will definitely provide some thrill for Gaylord drivers.
Eight-speed automatic transmissions pair well with both engines and are included. Towing capabilities couple with this, as the Bronco Sport can two between 2000 and 2200 pounds. The Badlands trim level includes additional equipment for more impactful towing, provided a heavy job is in the works. The 2023 Ford Bronco hosts incredible off-road capabilities, although it does have its limits. All-terrain tires mounted on 17-inch wheels assist the new Ford Bronco in overcoming obstacles.
