The Timberline model is designed to be even more rugged. It gets 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque from its V6 engine, and it comes with features such as all-terrain tires. The Platinum model also gets a V6, but it has an output of 400 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. This Expedition also has an adaptive suspension.
Technology
It is immediately obvious that the new Expedition has the latest in tech features when you sit down inside the cabin. There is either a 12-inch or 15.5-inch touchscreen at the heart of the infotainment system, and a Wi-Fi hotspot comes standard. All models also have Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®. Satellite radio is standard on every Expedition except the entry-level XL. Available features for this Ford SUV include wireless charging, onboard navigation, and a 22-speaker premium audio system.
Safety Highlights
