Performance

There are two engines in the Edge's powertrain lineup. The twin-scroll 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine is turbocharged and has direct-injection for power and efficiency, and the available 2.7-liter EcoBoost® V6 engine, which is standard in the Edge ST, produces 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. The engines are paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission that provides responsive shifting on the streets of Cheboygan. With the Class II Trailer Tow Package and the 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine, the Edge has a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.
