Rivalries, they're everywhere. The Red Sox and the Yankees, The Red Wings and the Leafs, cats and dogs, cats and other cats for that matter. However, there are few rivalries more one-sided than cars versus potholes. Every year around this time, we're treated to freshly pockmarked roads, ready to ruin our suspensions, our days, and if we're holding a fresh cup of coffee, our pants too. Well today, Ford Motor Company is fighting back against the pothole menace.
Check out this sneak peek of the new 2017 Ford Fusion Sport. Ford has engineered this vehicle with a pothole-detection system. When a pothole is coming up, the car notifies the shocks, telling them to brace themselves. So while other vehicles will be treated to a hard, sudden drop, the 2017 Ford Fusion Sport rolls right over them, totally unscathed.
The 2017 Ford Fusion will be out later this summer, but we couldn't wait to share this with you! Ford is poised to make 2016 the year that we turn the tables on potholes and put this bitter rivalry to bed. Visit us at Dean Arbour Ford Lincoln to test drive a new Ford today!
