2012 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator
Vehicles-
Reason for
Recall: Vehicles equipped with passenger side second row
seat require second row seat backrest frame inspection and repair. In some
affected vehicles, the passenger side second row seat may not conform to the
requirements specified by Federal Motor Safety Standard (FMVSS) 202a-Head
Restraints. On these seats, the guide sleeves that retain the headrest may have
inadequate weld penetration, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a
crash. Please schedule your recall service appointment .
2010-2011 Ford Fusion
and Mercury Milan Vehicles
Reason for Recall: Vehicles
equipped with steel wheels, and wheel studs require rear brake disc inspection
and lug nut replacement. In some of the affected vehicles, manufacturing
variability can lead to reduced wheel clamp load and may result in multiple
wheel stud fractures and/or wheel separation. Wheel separation may cause a loss
of steering control. Pleaseschedule your recall service appointment . 2001-2002 Escape
Vehicles
Reason for Recall: Vehicles equipped
with an Anti-lock brake system (ABS) require an ABS relay installation and
master cylinder reservoir cap replacement. Some of the affected vehicles may
have a master cylinder reservoir cap that could allow brake fluid to leak from
the reservoir and potentially reach the ABS module connector. If the module
connector is not sealed properly, brake fluid may enter the module connector,
creating a potential for an electrical short. An electrical short might cause an
ABS malfunction that could illuminate the ABS warning light, and in some cases,
the module may overheat resulting in burning odor, smoke and/or fire. This
condition could occur either when the vehicle ignition switch is in the off
position or while the vehicle is being operated. Please schedule your recall service appointment .
